Six in Paris is a film from 1965 made in a similar format to the 2006 film Paris Je T’aime. Six renowned directors (Douchet, Rouch, Pollet, Godard, Rhomer, and Chabrol) create vignettes of life in six different districts of Paris (St. Germain des Pres, Gare du Nord, Rue St. Denis, Montparnasse et Levallois, Place d’Etoile, and La Muette).  My favorite is the St. Germain des Pres, as it portrays the love woes of a fantastically stylish American art student. An original 19th century Turkish Ottoman male jacket (yelek). Very rich embroidery with golden threads and hanging sleeves. These jackets with hanging sleeves were worn only by the high-ranked Ottoman aristocrats. It took months of skilled manual labor to produce and decorate one of these vests. Perfectly preserved in museum grade quality. This is original piece – more than 150 years old, not reproduction. Available from iOffer.com.
