RDuJour recently had the chance to ask Shareen Sarwar-Rubiera stylist and founder of Vintage Mavens a few questions. Based in Miami Beach, Florida, Vintage Mavens is an online speciality vintage shop and blog. A native New Yorker, Shareen’s past resume includes styling for companies such as Dolce & Gabbana and publications like Teen Vogue and Women’s Wear Daily. Using the skills she picked up from the New York fashion industry and her education at Miami International University of Art & Design, Shareen & her photographer/filmmaker husband Jorge Rubiera started Vintage Mavens in 2009. Mohamed Al Fayed has sold the famous Knightsbridge store Harrods to Qatar Holding for a reported 1.5 billion pounds or $2.22 billion. Al Fayed acquired the store in 1985 after battling for ownership with tycoon Tiny Rowland for £615 million.  It was reported that Al Fayed is selling in order to retire to spend more time with his family.
