It’s casting season for those Spring 2010 advertising campaigns!

*Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana tweeted earlier today about her work with Roberto Cavalli, “Exciting news! I shot the new Cavalli campaign with Carolyn Murphy. The campaign was shot by Steven Meisel.” …

*While WWD recently reported that Dutch It-Model Lara Stone will be the new face of Louis Vuitton, @LiveFashionWeek hit the Twitter yesterday saying that Daisy Lowe is shooting their new campaign in Miami. (I guess this means no more Madge then?) 

*And finally, Donatella has hired Rolling Stone offspring Georgia Jagger to be the new face Versace, (for a very large sum reportedly) despite recent lay offs at the Italian fashion house. Donatella recently stated that she ran the business under the influence of cocaine so current economic woes should be no problem.

- After denying rumours that she was pregnant Penelope Cruz ignited new whispers at Paper magazine’s party held on Saturday night at Casa Lever in Cruz and Pedro Almodovar’s honor. Cruz, who is dating her Vicky Christina Barcelona co-star, Javier Bardem was apparently sporting a sparkly sapphire surrounded by diamonds on her left ring finger…

Actress Uma Thurman will marry her fiancee Arpad “Arki” Busson at Kensington Palace next June. They have hired out the palace’s famous Orangery and guests will include Elizabeth Hurley, Claudia Schiffer, and Sir Elton John. Uma, 39, was previously married to actor Ethan Hawke and began dating Busson, Elle Macpherson’s ex, in 2007 after splitting from hotelier Andre Balzas.
