Hallie Meyers Shyer is the daughter of screenwriter Charles Shyer, whose projects include The Parent Trap and Alfie, and director Nancy Meyers, famous for her dreamy rom-com sets on films such as Something’s Gotta Give, The Holiday and It’s Complicated. Recently selected to front this styling collaboration between WhoWhatWear and The Gap, Meyers Shyer is also working on her first film script called The Chelsea. The film will be directed by her mother and is described as an ensemble dramedy set within an apartment block in Chelsea, New York City, with Felicity Jones already billed to star. They were featured in the Victoria and Albert’s exhibition earlier this year called Queen Elizabeth II by Cecil Beaton – A Diamond Jubilee celebration and show the Queen at her most beautiful and in the loveliest of dresses and backdrops!
