Bruce Gilden: Fashion Magazine (The Seven Deadly Sins of Fashion)

First edition, first printing of a set of seven magazines conceptualised by noted street fashion photographer Bruce Gilden. Signed in black ink on the cover of Volume 1 by Gilden. The magazines are soft cover with each with volume in photographically illustrated wrappers, no dust jackets as issued; contained in a clear plastic envelope with title printed on a sticker affixed to the front. Grace Kelly Graces Vanity Fair

Anticipation of next months exhibit featuring the wardrobe of Princess Grace of Monaco at the Victoria & Albert museum seems to have reignited an surging interest in the style icon (at least with Conde Nast!). Last months Tatler featured an editorial about how Kelly plotted her way from the Main Line of Pennsylvania to Hollywood and then to Royalty. Now the American edition of Vanity Fair features her on their cover.

This is the first issue of Chanel’s new in-store magazine called 31 Rue Cambon. Karl Lagerfeld chose fellow Parisian fashion hipster Olivier Zahm, of Purple magazine, to art direct and design the debut issue. It will be distributed world wide so now everyone can go into a Chanel boutique and walk out with a goodie!
