Personal and career issues aside I do occasionally still like Lindsay Lohan’s outfits (and still maintain the opinion that her collection for Ungaro wasn’t that bad!) Yesterday she was spotted heading to and from a hair salon in Los Angeles.. I loved the baggy, torn boy jeans and ballet flats she was wearing and really would have liked her top as well if it had covered more of her belly. Continue reading for additional photos.

It was obvious from the start that the collaboration between Lindsay Lohan and Estella Arches was not going to have an easy time garnering praise. The uproar sounded when CEO Mounir Moufarrige announced that he was replacing Esteban Cortazar  with the tabloid star to make the brand cooler. Fashionologie claimed that several buyers had declined to attend the show because of her involvement. But now the bashing has really begun. 

WWD: “Lindsay, it’s time to get serious about reviving the acting career. After just one season, one show, Mounir Moufarrige’s Lindsay-plus-one experiment is off to a troubled start.”

Business of Fashion : “Lindsay Lohan’s outing at Ungaro today is widely panned by the fashion pack. Yet another bad move for a once leading fashion house.”

Obviously this isn’t Ungaro as it once was– Lohan didn’t train under Crisobal Balenciaga or André Courrèges. But it wasn’t that bad!! I thought it was closer to being really good than these cries of an absolute disaster. It was cute, it was fun, and there were pieces on that runway that I would wear (like the white skirt with hearts cut-out, the black tuxedo jacket, the one shouldered white mini dress, and all those hot pink pieces…). Two thumbs up! And Lindsay looked nice when she came down the runway!!!
