These glamorous floor pillows are made from vintage silk Hermès scarfs by Tshuka. Above is the “Cheval Turc” pattern on the pillow front with brown patent leather backing. All pillows are available for purchase from Vivre.com and are made to order so allow six-eight weeks for delivery.

I have always wanted a typewriter and when I finally commit to purchasing one I think it’s going to be an Hermès, either 3000 or Baby/Rocket model from the 1950s/60s. 

Above are the 3000 model the green from 1958, the year it was first introduced, and the blue from the late 1960s.

The London department store Liberty will host an Hermès pop up store for six weeks this fall, from September 7th to October 18th. The boutique will sell  scarves and ties, including a range designed specially for the collaboration by Hermès creative director Bali Barret using Liberty’s Tana Lawn cottons and micro floral prints.

Hermès has long been famous for the wrap style band of their Cape Code and Kelly watches. Such a good look has of course been copied many times but I particularly like these La Mer watches for which prices range from $89 to $120, making them an affordable substitute to the classic originals.
