The formidable French fashion house Hermès has launched a collaboration of their famous silk scarves with the Paris boutique colette. Called J’Aime Mon Carré (I love my scarf) the collection brings a youthful edge to the classic accessory by adding a splash of technicolor to some of Hermès’ famous prints such as the Brides de Gala shown above and mashing up a series of others as can be seen in the second scarf in the gallery below. The collection, which was overseen by Bali Barret, Hermès’ “artistic director of silk”, will be released on September 27th and available through October 16th. In the meantime check out Jaimemoncarre.com, the project’s website that includes pictures of stylish it-girls from New York, London, Paris and Tokyo who are representing the collection.
