Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Hanover, attended the 5th Business Luxury Summit Gala evening held at Sporting Club in Monaco last night with her uncle Prince Albert of Monaco. Charlotte has been in Monte Carlo recently, reportedly recovering from injuries acquried during a car accident in Italy a few weeks ago (she appears to be hiding her cast in most of these pictures). Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and his uber fashionable girlfriend Dasha Zhukova were pictured boarding one of his many mega yachts in Saint Tropez over the weekend. Recenly Abramovich’s latest $500 million yacht called Eclipse was released from the German ship yard where it was being built, however will not be finished until next year. The Eclipse will include a mini submarine, spa, movie theater, garden, bullet proof glass around Abramovich’s quarters, two helipads, and pleanty more I’m sure!! Opening Of The New Contemporary Art Centre
Francois Pinault, the owner of the Gucci Group and father-in-law of Salma Hayek has put some of his personal art collection up for display in Venice at the Punta della Dogana. The Punta della Dogana is a former Venetian Republic Customs House that sits at the tip of an island on the Grand Canal across from the Piazza San Marco, and the interior of which has been renovated by Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Ando has turned the 17th century building into a modern masterpiece with lots of grey concrete and sky lights. To celebrate the opening of the exhibition many jet setters turned up in Venice yesterday including Charlotte Casiraghi and her boyfriend Alex Dellal, Naomi Campbell, Margherita Missoni, Stella McCartney, Lucilla Bonaccorsi, Brandino and Mary Brandolini d’Adda (parents of Bianaca Brandolini d’Adda), Franca Sozzani, Marc Jacobs, and others.
