Monaco National Day 2009
Monaco National Day was yesterday. For the past few years the holiday has been celebrated on Saint Rainier’s Day (November 19) in honour of the late Prince Rainier, the principality’s previous ruler. Princess Caroline attended the ceremonies with her children Andrea, Charlotte, Pierre, and Alexandra. Her husband, Prince Ernst of Hanover, who Caroline is rumored to be divorcing was not present. Andrea Casiraghi Hospices de Beaune Auction
Princess Caroline of Monaco’s eldest son Andrea Casiraghi attended the annual wine auction at the Hospices de Beaune earlier this week (November 15) in Beaune (Burgundy), France. Psst DuJour: Princess Caroline Divorcing?
It was reported over the weekend that Princess Caroline and her third husband Prince Ernst of Hanover are divorcing. The 52-year-old princess has been married to Prince Ernst, 55, since 1999 and they have one daughter, Princess Alexandra, together. The French society magazine Point de Vue was told by an “insider” that, ”It looks like the end. Both Caroline and Ernst have been at the centre of scandals in the past, but this really is breaking their hearts.” The couple have not been pictured together in public since June and are said to be living separate lives.

Monte Carlo Red Cross Ball
The 61st Red Cross Ball in Monte Carlo was held on Friday (July 31st) evening at the Monte Carlo Sporting Club. The only members of the Monegasque royal family in attendance were Prince Albert and Princess Stephanie. Prince Albert’s girlfriend Charlene Wittstock, a former Olympic swimer from South Africa, is stepping up the principality’s chic stakes– she looked great in a red gown and perfect chignon. Charlotte Casiraghi Show Jumping Competition Part II
More photos of Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Caroline of Hanover’s daughter, at a showjumping competition in France last weekend. The show was held in Vidauban, France, (not Saint Tropez as previously reported) and took place at the Domaine Equestre grand prix grounds, which are located an hour from Monaco and a half hour from Saint Tropez.
