Earlier in the week Charlotte Casiraghi attended the opening of the new Art of Cartier exhibition in Madrid, Spain. For the event Charlotte wore a floor-length grey strapless gown accessorising with silver heels, a Gucci clutch bag and striking diamond necklace and diamond cocktail ring. “Juste un clou” meaning literally “Just a nail” is the original Cartier nail bracelet, designed back in the 70s by Aldo Chipuro for the brand. Recently re-released the piece is simply a bent sold white or yellow gold nail and sure to be a must have accessory.

Chinese actress and singer Fan Bingbing was one of the celebrity guests at the recent launch of a new high jewellery collection “Sortilege de Cartier” at the Villa Aurelia in Rome, Italy. One of RDuJour’s all time favorite everyday accessory combinations is the pairing of a gold rolling ring, most notably made by Cartier, and a vintage intaglio ring (like the reverse of a cameo, the intaglio is engraved with some sort of seal or graphic). Sported here by jewellery designer Eugenie Niarchos on the pinky and ring fingers you could also go for the stack rather than side by side variation.

The Calibre de Cartier is the most recent watch model to be released by the famous French luxury designer and is the first model by the brand to be aimed solely at men. At 42mm it is slimmer than recent models of Cartier’s noteable Santos, Tank, Pasha and Rotonde styles but Cartier produced this short film to show off the masculine feel of the watch.
