Daughter of Alberto Repossi, head of the family’s eponymous house of joallaire with headquarters in Milan, Paris, and Monte Carlo, twenty-three-year-old Gaia has been the brand’s artistic director for the past three years. In 2007 the former Sorbonne anthropology student launched the Czarina collection, signed by Ere by Repossi, with childhood friend Eugenie Niarchos in hopes of cultivating a youthful market. In October of this year Gaia and Eugenie launched the Nérée by Repossi collection with a fete at the Ritz Hotel in Paris attended by Karl Lagerfeld, Mary-Kate Olsen and every jet setter in between. Twenty-one-year-old jewelry designer Delfina Delettrez Fendi is the daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi, director of accessories for the Italian luxury brand, and the French jeweler Bernard Delettrez. Although her family’s business might be associated with classic pieces for ladies who lunch, Delfina’s line of bling, which opened its first free standing store in Rome last year, has a slightly more gothic look. You may remember a few months ago a mention about Chanel’s new it-girl brand ambassadors Jen Brill, Poppy Delevingne, Leigh Lezark, Caroline Sieber, and Vanessa Traina. Well a new bit on their role for the label… Les Fidèles De Chanel, meaning the faithful ones, will (along with pal Alexa Chung who has a special relationship with Chanel), lend their support to projects and launches, while bringing their own original styles to the iconic brand.
