Vogue editor Anna Wintour gave a speech last night at The Gordon Parks Foundation’s Celebrating Fashion Awards Gala held at Gotham Hall in New York City. Pictured with Anna are photographer Bruce Webber and fashion designer Ralph Lauren. 

Anna Wintour (whose daughter Bee Shaffer graduated from Columbia University yesterday) gave a rare interview with CBS program 60 Minutes on Sunday. 

Following Carine Roitfeld exciting appearance on CNN, Anna Wintour’s interview with 60 Minutes will air tomorrow (Sunday May 17). In the teaser below Anna calls Vogue magazine a ‘glamorous girlfriend’. In other clips of the rare interview with Wintour that have been released Anna confirms her passion for fashion and explains her frequent use of sunglasses. “They are seriously useful. I can sit in a show and if I am bored out of my mind, nobody will notice. And if I’m enjoying it nobody will notice. At this point, they have become, really, armor.”
