Sporty-chic looks from Alexander Wang’s Spring / Summer 2010 collection. The New York based designer was inspired by classic American activewear like football uniforms, and combined these details to make puff shoulder jersey tops, mini-dresses out of trench coats, high knee sweat socks, and more. As per tradition department store Barneys New York has dedicated another one of their advertising campaigns to feature Marc Jacobs designs.  The Spring shots feature models Cole Mohr and Nimue Smit photographed by Nick Haymes. 

Dom Pérignon has unveiled Dom Pérignon Wedding and in commemoration of the event the company is releasing a never before seen image that Karl Lagerfeld snapped years ago of Claudia Schiffer. This archival image will be used for the Dom Pérignon Wedding international ad campaign. Claudia, who drank Dom Pérignon at her wedding explains that “For me, Dom Pérignon is the ultimate symbol of luxury, elegance and quality”, adding “I had Dom Pérignon at my wedding and since then it is always with us to celebrate special occasions”. 

This is the ad campaign created for BCBG’s new “Generation”  line, a collection from the Azaria family aimed at a younger audience. Judging from these pictures the collection will have all the same trendy elegance that BCBG already encapsulates.

French actress and model Lou Doillon takes up her post as Vanessa Bruno’s muse again for the designer’s spring-summer 2010 ad campaign. The collection which Lou models includes light colored, lingerie inspired pieces. Continue reading for full photos and  Le bel ete video also starring Lou.

Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova stars in these stunning ads for Stella McCartney’s spring-summer 2010 collection. The vibrant colors set against a black-and-white back drop were captured by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Recently Natalia promoted her own designs at Paris Fashion Week, holding a runway show for her Etam lingerie collection at the Ritz Hotel that drew a star studded crowd.

Gucci has dipped into their archives to produce some of their latest ads. Dating from the 1960s the black-and-white snapshots star the famous model of the era Veruschka and the late actor Peter Sellers. Featured on top of the photos are Gucci’s latest model of watch the G-,  a re-edition of a piece also first shown in the 60s. Of the ads Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said, “The images featured in this campaign are some of my favorites from the Gucci archive. They perfectly illustrate not only the glamour of Gucci’s past and the many style icons who were naturally drawn to the house, but also show how this heritage can be relevant today.”

Missy Rayder stars in the spring / summer 2010 advertising campaign for fashion company Sisley. The American supermodel was photographed by Marcus Ohlsson in the streets of Paris wearing lots of flowing silhouettes perfect for the new season.

Canadian supermodel Daria Werbowy stars in these new advertisements for Spanish luxury good brand Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2010 campaign. The campaign was photographed by the Dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who are on a roll this season with Daria, having also recently shot her for Isabel Marant’s campaign and in the popular Vogue Paris editorial Vogue-á-Porter.
