Chanel Cruise 2010/11 Runway
On the heels of the opening of the 2010 Cannes Film Festival Karl Lagerfeld took over the town of Saint-Tropez to put on the Chanel Cruisewear show. Outside Sénèquier, the famous tea room and pâtisserie, the street became a catwalk down which Lagerfeld sent his 1970s inspired looks, starting off with Georgia Jagger styled as a young Brigitte Bardot vrooming in on a motorcycle. *While WWD recently reported that Dutch It-Model Lara Stone will be the new face of Louis Vuitton, @LiveFashionWeek hit the Twitter yesterday saying that Daisy Lowe is shooting their new campaign in Miami. (I guess this means no more Madge then?)
*And finally, Donatella has hired Rolling Stone offspring Georgia Jagger to be the new face Versace, (for a very large sum reportedly) despite recent lay offs at the Italian fashion house. Donatella recently stated that she ran the business under the influence of cocaine so current economic woes should be no problem.
