68th Grand Prix de Monaco
The 68th Annual Monaco Grand Prix was held this weekend and won by Australian driver Mark Webber. The glamorous event drew the likes of Monaco’s royal family including HSH Prince Albert, his girlfriend Charlene Wittstock, Andrea, Pierre, and Charlotte Casiraghi, along with their friends Eugenie Niarchos, Beatrice Borromeo, and Alex Dellal, Lapo Elkann and Bianca Brandolini, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, and more. Giambattista Valli Fall 2009 RTW
Over the past few seasons Giambattista Valli has become one of my favorite designers. His latest work proves to be no exception, having delivered a collection that is full of quiet elegance. Although there were bold pieces featuring touches of metalics and peacock feathers, my favorites were the less extravagant capes over tights and long, ankle skimming coats and dresses. Issa Fall 2009
Models Jourdan Dunn and Alice Dellal highlighted Brazilian designer Daniella Helayel’s most recent show, while Alice’s mom Andrea Dellal, Daphne Guinness, Peaches Geldof, Daisy Lowe, and Poppy Delevigne sat front row as another one of this seasons overtly 70s/80s inspired collections came down the runway. Monte Carlo Grand Prix Glam
Charlotte, Pierre, and Andrea Casiraghi attended the Formula 1 race in Monte Carlo with their friends Alex Dellal, Eugenie Niarchos, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Andrea Sabrier, P.C. Valmorbida, and others. Also present were the Casiraghi’s mother Princess Caroline of Monaco and Hanover, her bother Prince Albert and his girlfriend, former Olympic swimmer from South Africa, Charlene Wittstock. Stylish Young Things: Alice Dellal
Alice is the daughter of former Brazilian fashion model Andrea Dellal. Her godfather is the famous fashion photographer Mario Testino and her brother Alex dates Pierre’s sister Charlotte Casiraghi. Pierre and Alice have been seen together around Milan, at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, and most recently at the “Valentino in Rome, 45 years of Style” Exhibition.
