Last year Lauren Remington Platt appeared in a Vogue editorial along with fellow New York it-girl Maggie Betts claiming that the economy had killed the socialite and that they weren’t going to be hitting the town anymore due to over exposure on those internet thingys called blogs. It didn’t take long for either of them to be back on the red carpet but we’ll forgive Lauren for lying because she has.. a) the sort of rambling surname you might find a romance novel b) a fierce pouty face  and c) great collection of party dresses.
