A few months ago it was reported that Lily Allen would be a new face for Chanel and weeks later the ads were released. Recently it was announced that Allen is promoting the new Coco Cocoon handbag collection, which hits stores October 3rd . Of  his latest muse Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld said, “I love Lily Allen. She looks a lot like Gabrielle Chanel and she is a self-made woman. She is cool, young and extremely witty. Photographing her for this advertising campaign was fantastic fun. She is extremely inspiring and is completely taken with the bags – with her typical English reserve!”
