This fantastic book is the fourth installment of Vidal’s ‘Narratives of Empire’. It tells the story of heiress Caroline Stanford as she fights with her half-brother Blaise for her father’s estate. Fearful that Blaise has poorly invested her inheritance in William Hearst’s newspapers she buys her own.

Kit Willow Podgornik, the Aussie behind the label Willow, showed her first line of lingere in 2003 at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week and four years later she has already dressed the likes of Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz, and Cate Blanchet.

Upcoming Testino Book
Photographer Mario Testino has a new book coming out titled Let Me In. It features over three hundred personal photos of celebs, an introduction by Michael Roberts (fashion director of Vanity Fair), and a forward written by Nicole Kidman, and Demi and Ashton will make the cover. The book is a limited edition as just 1000 copies are being released, all of which will be signed and numbered by Mario.
The New Empress of Valentino
Former creative director of Gucci Alessandra Facchinetti will be taking over the reigns of one of the world’s most celebrated empires. The perma-tanned king of Italian fashion Valentino announced Wednesday that he would be retiring next month after his final couture collection debuts in Paris and shortly after named his successor.
