I have not seen my cousin Huck in many years…seeing his children all grown up simply amazes me…they are beautiful…I miss my Uncle Dick and would love for his brother ( my Dad Leo) to see his brother’s grandchildren…Olympia and Fiona…I truly hope you see this e-mail and reply….we are family!…Nana Scarry would have wanted us all to stay together… I love the story my Dad tells ..of how all the brothers and sister said to their mother at bed time….I am my mommy’s sweetheart and I love my Mother dearly!…and I have some of Nana’s books that Uncle Dick gave to me and that is what he wrote in the books to her - I will cherish all the books he gave to me!…please someone get in touch - I would love my Dad to see Huck and the girls….Huck please get in touch with my Dad….he loved his brother dearly!!!!!!
WOW!!! I can’t get over having socialite cousins. Cousins I never met or knew I had and a comment from one I haven’t seen since early childhood. I’m Jack III first son of the oldest brother. Uncle Dick was the second son and my favorite uncle. I haven’t seen Huck since I was 18 and he was about 8. Lisa say “HI” and “Aloha” to all the family for me. I grew up in DC after my parents divorce and didn’t get to know my dads family very well. However I do remember Nana,Granpa and the summer cottage well. It’s where I went every summer. In fact I may have a pic of us together there, an a very early age. Then maybe it is Ed’s orbarbara’s family. I’m not sure. I also have a picture of Uncle Dick and me, as a young child, sitting behing the wheel of his MG. It was taken around 1950 in front of the nantasket Beach cottage. I live in Hawaii now and am in the phone book in my birth name. Would love to hear from family members.
